Description We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Billing Analyst to join our team in New York, New York. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, maintaining billing records, and resolving discrepancies. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, proficiency in billing systems, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process invoices and credit memos accurately and in a timely manner.

• Input billing data into the system while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

• Address customer inquiries promptly and manage requests efficiently.

• Verify data accuracy between source systems and the billing platform to prevent errors.

• Organize and maintain billing statements and payment details received from external sources.

• Investigate customer disputes and variances related to pricing or service generation.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to share updates on pending issues or investigations.

• Support the Revenue Manager and Director of Revenue Accounting with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and organizational billing requirements. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in billing or a related area.

• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting and billing software.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work reliably and professionally.

• Effective interpersonal skills to interact with customers, auditors, and team members.

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, data analysis expertise, and multitasking skills.

• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and internal control best practices.
