Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources specialist to join our team in Plainview, New York. This role is pivotal in overseeing HR operations, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in employee relations, HR administration, and benefit management.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Oversee HR administrative functions, including maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with policies.
• Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring timely enrollment, communication, and resolution of benefit-related inquiries.
• Utilize HRIS systems to streamline HR processes and maintain data accuracy.
• Lead onboarding initiatives to ensure new hires have a seamless and engaging transition into the organization.
• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with company goals and drive organizational success.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify and address workforce needs.
• Provide guidance and training to managers on HR best practices and policies.
• Evaluate and improve HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements • Proven experience in Human Resources management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations practices and conflict resolution.
• Familiarity with HR administration processes, including recordkeeping and compliance.
• Experience managing employee benefit programs and resolving related issues.
• Proficiency in working with HRIS systems to manage and analyze data.
• Demonstrated ability to lead onboarding programs and enhance employee engagement.
• Comprehensive understanding of labor laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
