Job Skills / Requirements

HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is currently hiring Full-Time Security Officers for ALL shifts in the Kingsport, TN area. This position offers a pay rate of $16.25/hr with weekly pay.

Requirements

+ Must have open availability including weekends (Saturday & Sunday)

+ TN Security License preferred but not required

+ Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred

+ Exceptional customer service skills and critical thinking skills

+ Excellent written and verbal skills

+ Must be computer literate and have basic computer skills

+ Professional attitude and appearance

+ Ability to work with limited supervision

+ Must be reliable and dependable

+ Candidates with a clean driving record are a plus

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

+ Ensure the security of the area

+ Ensure the rules and regulations are followed

+ Report writing (daily activity, incident, visitor logs, maintenance items, etc.)

+ Checking in visitors, ensure policies are followed, foot patrols, access control

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

High School diploma or equivalent

Certification Requirements (All)

TN Security License
