Job Skills / Requirements

HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is currently hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Fire Life Safety Directors in the New York City area. Offering a starting pay rate of $28-$34/hr. Pay is based on location.

Responsibilities:

+ Accurately monitor the fire command station.

+ Respond appropriately to fire command station signals & alarms.

+ Responsibly control access to client site or facility through the admittance process.

+ Couteously assist visitors with a legitimate need to gain entry to the facility.

+ Carefully prepare logs or reports as required for the site.

+ Observe and immediately report incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, life/safety personnel or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.

Requirements :

+ NY State Security Guard License

+ Current Fire Life Safety Director Certification (F-89/T-89)

+ Must have excellent concierge, verbal and written communication & computer skills

+ Ability to stand for long periods of time

+ Prior high-end hotel experience

+ Professional appearance

Various Days and Shifts Needed - Will be discussed during in-person interview with the hiring manager. PTO and benefits are available.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

Education Requirements (All)

High School diploma or equivalent

Certification Requirements (All)

NY State Security Guard License
