Director of Finance Transformation
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Serve as the financial lead for the consolidation system implementation project, overseeing design implications for financial data.
+ Manage the implementation of the consolidation tool in support of the budget cycle, including building forecast templates and reporting outputs, in collaboration with system vendors.
+ Act as a key member of the ERP implementation project by:
+ Ensuring integrity and consistency of data migration from multiple ledgers to a standardized chart of accounts.
+ Developing standardized reporting tools to support business and corporate strategies.
+ Designing and implementing standardized close procedures and policies.
+ Creating and delivering training programs for finance team members.
+ Partner with IT to manage the analytics environment and serve as system administrator during implementation and stabilization phases.
+ Develop standardized systems and reporting tools for managing overhead expenses, cost centers, and balance sheet analyses.
+ Design templates and data infrastructure to support market model management within BI environments.
+ Assist operating finance teams in assessing and redesigning local and back-office processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
+ Communicate complex technical information effectively to audiences with varying levels of technical proficiency.
Supervisory Responsibilities
+ Oversee team operations in compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, and issue resolution.
Qualifications
+ Ability to perform all essential duties with energy and enthusiasm.
+ Minimum education: Associate degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent experience).
+ CPA or CMA certification preferred.
+ 7+ years of experience developing analytics dashboards and reports from complex data sources.
Skills and Abilities
+ Strong analytical and data-gathering skills.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Knowledge of ERP, RPA, and BI systems and tools.
+ High attention to accuracy and detail.
+ Experience validating and migrating financial data during system implementation or transformation projects.
+ Expertise in designing and managing financial controls.
+ Familiarity with advanced ERP environments and BI tools (Power BI or Tableau).
+ Understanding of deFacto or BPC is a plus.
+ Self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Strong prioritization, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Norwalk, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr.
