VCA Northeast Animal Hospital** is expanding its Patient Care Team and seeking a **Licensed Veterinary Technician!
**Schedule:** Full-time with rotating Saturdays.
**Compensation:** $20 - $22/ hour and is based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and other relevant credentials.

The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:
+ Laboratory/diagnostic duties.
+ Assist veterinarians in surgical procedures, including prepping animals, monitoring anesthesia, and providing post-operative care.
+ Perform dental cleanings and dental radiographs under the supervision of a veterinarian.
+ Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
+ Monitor vital signs and provide compassionate care to animals throughout their stay in the surgery and dentistry department.
+ Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
+ Collaborate with a diverse team of veterinary professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
+ Create detailed medical discharge instructions for clients.
+ Venipuncture and IV catheter placements
+ Physical examinations and patient assessment.
+ Maintaining proper sterile conditions.
+ Diagnostic imaging.
+ Pharmacy.
