    JOBSUMMARY Under the direction of the Assistant Director/Regional Operations is responsible for complete agent account management for a specific geographic area. By providing in-person visitation at least twice monthly,for traditional agent accounts and as needed formanaged accounts. The Account Representative promotes and supports the entire rangeof MSLC products, promotions, and operational policies to the assigned agent accounts, while providing coaching, guidance, and sales support activities to ensure both the Sales Agentandthepurchasingpublic’sneedsandexpectationsaremetbytheMSLC.Account Representatives must always act in such a manner to establish and maintain public confidence and trust. ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS · Conductfieldauditsapproximatelytwiceayearat eachassignedLotteryaccount. · InformAssetProtectionManagersofissuessuchasmissingbooks,missing equipment, and non-Lottery gaming machines. · ProvidedirectionandguidancetoSalesAgentsinaspecificsalesterritoryand administer their day-to-day activities. · MakedailypersonalvisitstoSalesAgentstoensurethatallreasonablestepsarebeing taken to maximize sales in his/her assigned area. · ProvideaccurateandtimelyservicestoManagedAccountAgents,asneeded,toensure maximization of operational efficiency and sales performance and revenues. · CollaboratewithManagedAccountAgentstoensuremanagementavailabilityfor dual control cash reconciliation as needed based on location sales volume. · Documentbyphotocopyorphotographallverifiedcashdepositsateachagent reconciliation visit. · Assistinthecollectionofdataincludingtrafficflowandgrosssalesusedinestablishingmarketingplans. · Recommendadvertisingandpromotionalprogramsinhis/hersalesarea. · Establishandmaintainrecordstoassistinthepropermanagementofhis/hersalesarea. · Assistwiththerecruitment,selectionandtrainingofSalesAgents. · Makerecommendationstohis/herAssistantDirectoronmatters whicharepertinent to his assigned sales area. · Takestepsrequiredtomeetassignedsalesgoalsorotherobjectives,suchas equipment installations or point of sale activities. · Implementpolicies andproceduresestablishedby theMSLCstaff. · Utilizepromotionalitemstodrivesales. · Compareweeklyactualsalestoplansorpastresults,analyzevariancesandtake action to ensure that each of his Sales Agents achieves acceptable sales results. · ReviewtheperformanceofSalesAgentstactfullypointingoutstrengthsandweaknesses. · EnsurethatSalesAgentbonusesarepromptlydeliveredandthateveryreasonable step is taken to maximize publicity. · EnsurethateachSalesAgentinhis/herareaofresponsibilityproperlydisplaysall types of Point-of-Sale materials. · CoordinateChainStoreactivitieswiththeMSLCManager,ChainStoreRelations. · EnsurethatSalesAgentsareadequatelysuppliedwithMSLCproducts(Tickets). · Ensurethatreportsareproperlysubmittedonatimelybasisandthatpersonnelrules and regulations are adhered to. · Ensurethatactivitieswithinhis/herareaaremanagedinthemosteconomicalmannerpossible. · Recordsales-agentvisitdetailsusingtheLapissoftware. · MaintainaclosetouchwiththemarketplacetogaugeMSLCcustomerandthe public's thinking. · Properlyandeconomicallymanagetheresourcesallocatedtohim/her,e.g., equipment, vehicles, and other equipment. · RecommendnewbusinessopportunitiestotheAssistantDirector. · InstructSalesAgentsontheuseofsuccessfulmarketingandsalestechniques. · AnticipatepotentialproblemsandprovideguidancetotheSalesAgentsinsolving these problems. · Asappropriate,invitesSalesAgentsandtheirsalespersonneltoMSLCactivities, e.g., drawings award ceremonies, etc. · Effectivelydisseminateinformationsuchaswinningnumbers,drawingtimes, settlement dates, etc. · EnsurethatSalesAgentsareproperlyeducatedsothattheycanansweranyquestions which the public may ask, e.g., how to claim, who wins, etc. · EnsureallLotteryproductsaremerchandizedinthebestpossiblelocation. · Takestepsnecessarytoensureconductinabusinesslikeandprofessionalmanner. · Requiredtorespondinatimelymannertoalltelephonecalls,voicemails,emails, and texts. · Performrelateddutiesasassigned. · Performdutiesasassignedandtrainedduetochangesincomputersystemsandnewtechnology. · MusthaveavalidDriver’sLicense.
