Duties and Responsibilities

General Responsibilities:

+ Tactical and Operational Planning: Contribute to short-term and long-term IT strategy by offering expertise that supports the organization’s business goals and objectives.

+ Technical Expertise: Conduct in-depth analyses of performance, systems architecture, and data trends to support decision-making processes. Develop solutions that align with Loyola University Chicago’s Academic, Administrative, and Research needs.

+ Innovation and Emerging Technologies: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Assist in evaluating their potential impact on the organization and recommending strategic investments and implementation.

+ Budgeting and Cost Control: Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to influence budget allocations for projects and upgrades. Evaluate Vendor proposals to ensure cost-effective solutions that meet institutional goals.

+ Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the organization’s IT systems comply with relevant regulations and standards, managing risks associated with technology use.

+ Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain relationships between IT and campus partners to ensure the delivery of quality services.

Position Specific Responsibilities:

+ Support the execution of change management plans, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, and readiness evaluations.

+ Assist in identifying resistance and developing mitigation strategies to address it.

+ Coordinate with communications and training Teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and sessions.

+ Facilitate feedback loops and incorporate Stakeholder input into Change strategies.

+ Track and report issues and risks related to Change adoption and User experience.

+ Contribute to the development of Change Management resources and Toolkits.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

+ Bachelor’s Degree

Qualifications

+ Ability to communicate verbally

+ Ability to compile complex reports and develop presentations

+ Ability to deal calmly and courteously with people

+ Ability to deal with stressful situations

+ Ability to finish tasks in a timely manner

+ Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and established procedures

+ Ability to function independently and manage own time and work tasks

Certificates/Credentials/Licenses

Qualifications:

+ Experience in Change Management, Organizational Development, or Project Support.

+ Familiarity with Change Management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, CCMP ) is preferred.

+ Strong Organizational and Analytical skills.

+ Effective Communication and Interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

+ Experience with Project Management Tools and Reporting Systems.
