    High School Social Worker – Contract (Through End of School Year)

     

    Pay Rate: $50–$52/hr

     

    Contract: Now through end of the 2025–2026 school year

    About the Role

    We are seeking a dedicated High School Social Worker to join our team in Chippewa Falls, WI. This contract position supports students, families, and school staff by addressing social, emotional, and academic needs to help students succeed. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting youth and experienced in working within both social service agencies and school environments.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide direct support and intervention services to high school students and families

    + Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to promote student success

    + Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and community agencies

    + Support crisis intervention and safety planning when needed

    + Maintain documentation in alignment with DPI and District requirements

    + Participate in ongoing ethics and boundary training as required by the Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing (every two years)

    + Promote a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive school environment

    Required Qualifications

    + Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)

    + Certification in School Social Work

    + Active DPI License (Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction)

    + Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a recognized social service agency supporting children and families

    + Experience in school-related or social work settings

    + Commitment to continued professional development, including ethics/boundary training

    Preferred Skills

    + Strong communication and collaboration abilities

    + Experience supporting diverse student populations

    + Crisis response and de-escalation skills

    + Ability to manage caseloads and maintain clear documentation
