Speech Language Pathologist – $55/hr – Killeen, TX – Full-time – 20 Weeks

Position Overview:

We are seeking two Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide evaluations and therapy services to middle school students. This role includes conducting assessments, developing individualized plans of care, delivering therapy, and maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Assignment Details:

+ Location: Killeen, TX

+ Start Date: January 19, 2026

+ End Date: May 28, 2026

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

+ Hours: 40 per week

+ Duration: 20 weeks

+ Pay Rate: $55/hour

+ Openings: 2

+ Modality: In-person

+ Interview: Virtual

Responsibilities:

+ Use ASHA & TDLR Code of Ethics when making clinical decisions

+ Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine eligibility and write FIE reports

+ Plan and deliver individual & group therapy aligned with IEP goals

+ Develop IEP goals and present at ARD meetings

+ Collect and analyze student performance data to document progress

+ Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success

+ Maintain student records and required documentation

+ Supervise SLPAs or graduate students when assigned

Requirements:

+ Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of assignment

+ Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract

+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

+ Current CPR (if applicable)

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
