Job Title: Exceptional Children (EC) Teacher

Start Date: ASAP (Estimated: 1/12/2026)

Contract Length: 24 weeks

Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday (School Hours)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated EC Teacher for a self-contained classroom serving grades 4–8. This role offers strong EC support and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative charter school environment.

Requirements:

+ Licensed by NCDPI for EC General Curriculum or EC Adapted Curriculum

+ Out-of-state licensure considered with a Special Education degree and willingness to apply for NCDPI licensure

+ Unlicensed candidates considered with minimum 1 year lead teaching experience in EC/SPED classroom

+ Minimum 1 year teaching experience
