School Social Worker – $45/hr – Oak Forest, IL – Full-time – 16 Weeks

Position Overview:

We are seeking a School Social Worker to collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and provide input in the development of IHP/IEP for students requiring social work intervention and support in the school setting. Candidates must have experience working with students with autism and high support needs.

Assignment Details:

+ Location: Oak Forest, IL

+ Start Date: January 26, 2026

+ End Date: May 2026

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 3:30 PM

+ Hours: 33.75 per week

+ Duration: 16 weeks

+ Pay Rate: $45/hour

+ Openings: 1

+ Modality: In-person

+ Interview: Initial interview may be virtual or in person; second interview/tour is in person

Responsibilities:

+ Provide social work services aligned with student IEPs

+ Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers

+ Support students with autism and high support needs

+ Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines

+ Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for student plans

Requirements:

+ Holds a Professional Educator License with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement

+ MSW or LCSW may be required by state, contract, or facility

+ Current CPR (if applicable)

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ Prior school experience required
