Job Summary:
The Algebra Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in Algebra I and/or Algebra II, aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). This role focuses on fostering mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills, and academic success for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Plan and implement lessons that meet TEKS standards for Algebra.
+ Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs.
+ Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations.
+ Maintain accurate grade records and provide timely feedback.
+ Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and student achievement.
+ Participate in professional development and maintain compliance with district and state requirements.
