Amergis Healthcare Staffing is looking for a Licensed Speech Language Pathologist to create individualized care plans for speech pathology patients in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

Pay: $65-$75 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions to patients with speech, language, and/or hearing deficits as per physician orders.

+ Assess patient needs; plan, evaluate, and modify care to achieve speech therapy goals.

+ Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

+ Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on the patient's comprehensive speech therapy program.

+ Advise, consult, and instruct multi-disciplinary team members on specific speech therapy modalities and interventions.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice.

+ Graduate of a Speech Language Pathologist program accredited by the American Speech and Hearing Association, holding or eligible for a certificate of clinical competence granted by the American Speech and Hearing Association.

+ Minimum of one year of experience in an acute care facility, outpatient setting, community health service, home health agency, or private practice as a Speech Language Pathologist within the past two years preferred.

+ Current CPR certification.
