Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst at the GG-11 grade level responisble for providing a variety of duties associted with analyzing, advising, processing and recording of financial documentation and data Responsibilities You will advise customers regarding financial guidance, policy and procedures. You will utilize integrated federal financial management systems and sub-systems to input, analyze and extract data. You will identify and resolve system problems, and maintain data integrity. You will prepare, review and reconcile financial statements and financial reports to meet reporting requirements and to support management decisions. You will monitor costs for the purpose of comparing plans to actual expenditures, determining status of commitments and obligations and identifying and correcting discrepancies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level (GS/GG-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as: 1. Ensure obligations are properly created and tracked through the official accounting system. 2. Carry out specific assignments regarding routine tasks in the collection and analysis of financial data necessary to complete budget formulation. 3. Utilizing knowledge on travel related regulations, instructions and directives and polices to advise command as needed. 4. Utilize timekeeping systems to ensure payroll tracking is up to date and correct.
