    MD Anderson's *Diagnostic Imaging* department is one of the most advanced imaging centers in the world dedicated solely to cancer care. DI provides:

     

    • Comprehensive imaging services including CT, MRI, PET/CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine.

    • Specialized oncology-focused imaging utilizing state-of-the-art technology for detection, staging, treatment planning, and monitoring.

    • A collaborative, multidisciplinary model involving radiologists, nurses, technologists, and oncology teams.

    • High-volume, high-acuity patient care, offering nurses exposure to complex oncologic cases.

    • Strong emphasis on patient experience, ensuring comfort, communication, and high-quality care throughout the imaging process.

     

    The *Clinical Nurse* plays a vital role in patient preparation, education, safety, procedural support, contrast management, reaction response, throughput coordination, and high-level patient interaction.

     

    The *Clinical Nurse* coordinates and delivers patient-centered, evidence-based care across the continuum in Diagnostic Imaging. This role works as part of an inter-professional team, advocates for patients and families, and supports staff development to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    * Required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
