Job Purpose & Scope
Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the ServiceNow solutions that support enterprise technology, operational, and risk initiatives.
Essential Job Functions
+ Designs, develops, and maintains ServiceNow applications and modules, particularly within the IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Asset Management (ITAM) suites.
+ Configures ServiceNow workflows, business rules, User Interface policies, and client scripts to meet business requirements.
+ Integrates ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and MID servers.
+ Ensures platform stability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
+ Maintains documentation for configuration, customizations, and integrations.
+ Stays current with ServiceNow releases and best practices to recommend platform improvements.
+ Offers technical support and troubleshooting assistance to ServiceNow users.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
+ General knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including configuring application development, integration, and automation.
+ General knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and/or ITAM modules for implementation and configuration or customization.
+ General knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 framework.
+ Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and assess risks and develop preventative measures.
+ Ability to work under general supervision.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks with exacting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to demonstrate excellent and effective customer service skills.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality.
+ Ability to work effectively and demonstrate flexibility in a continually changing environment.
+ Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
+ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or commensurate work experience, required .
+ 3+ years of work experience in ServiceNow development, with specialty in CMDB and the ITSM and IT Asset Management modules, required.
+ Professional certification or training in ITILv4, ITSM, ServiceNow CSA, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, or ServiceNow Implementation Specialist, preferred.
