13700BRJob Description:United States Steel Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Process Coordinator (Minntac/Keetac Mine) for our Minnesota Ore Operations organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ This position will be responsible for coordinating and executing the short and long term maintenance strategy for the Mobile Equipment Shop, Crusher, and Field groups.
+ Directly responsible for facility and team performance as measured by key performance indicators.
+ Directly responsible for the safety performance of the Mobile Equipment Shop, Crusher, and Field groups.
+ Develop shift manager growth and development through mentoring and accountability. Develop team synergies.
+ Work with the Maintenance Excellence team to support project development and execution. Take ownership of continuous improvement projects specific to the Mobile Equipment Shop, Crusher, and Field groups. .
+ Work with the SAMP Coordinator to ensure the structural integrity of the facility is in place.
+ Coordinate the status meetings for organization by drafting agenda, collecting weekly/bi-weekly metrics and status reports.
+ Drive and support the RCM program for the Mobile Equipment Shop, Crusher, and Field groups. Continue the execution of our reliability principles.
+ Develop and work with the Maintenance Excellence Team to ensure all maintenance processes support Best Operations.
+ Guide the development efforts for all change, training, and communication related activities.
+ Lead maintenance team and support budgeting in all areas; capex, maintenance capital, AOP, and quarterly forecasting.
+ Contribute to U. S. Steel’s Change Management toolkit – templates, tools, points of view, etc.
+ Keep leadership appraised of status, issues, and risks (verbally and written) and must be able to work well in a team environment where s/he may not have direct oversight and possess the ability to effectively influence key stakeholders at all levels.
+ Reinforce a culture with a high degree of emphasis on safety, ethics, and respect, by consistently modeling high standards of performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
+ This position requires a minimum of a two-year technical degree in a related field or related experience. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related industrial business major is preferred. The ideal candidate should have at least five (5) years of professional experience in maintenance execution and planning and be knowledgeable of U. S. Steel’s culture, values, current and past business challenges, and organizational structure.
+ In addition, the successful candidate must have project management and execution skills with the capability to drive activities to completion, mitigate risks, and help resolve issues/obstacles preventing progress, which requires strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with remote clients and ability to identify and prioritize program issues and risks that may need immediate attention are a must.
+ Demonstrate previous experience managing issues/risks so they are resolved/mitigated by appropriate stakeholders is necessary.
+ Have a high-level understanding of Maintenance and the RCM program.
+ Demonstrate a high level of Integrity, Collaboration, and Initiative.
+ The salary range of $101,420 to $152,130 is a good faith estimate. Based on candidate skills/experience the final offer may be lower/higher.
+ This is a safety sensitive position requiring drug and alcohol testing.
