    Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable House Attendant for the Hilton Harrisburg in Harrisburg, PA.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    CLEAN AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC AREAS OF THE HOTEL, ASSIST ROOM/SUITE ATTENDANTS WITH GENERAL CLEANING OF GUEST ROOMS AND SUITES. THIS INCLUDES VACUUMING, SHAMPOOING OF CARPETS; CLEANING/WAXING OF FLOORS; TRASH REMOVAL; STOCKING AND MAINTAINING SUPPLY ROOMS AND OTHER CLEANING DUTIES.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    THE POSITION REQUIRES PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, WITH OR WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION.

     

    + 50% - CLEANS PUBLIC CORRIDORS. THIS MAY INCLUDE VACUUMING, MOPPING, SWEEPING, SCRUBBING, WIPING AND DUSTING.

    + 30% - DELIVER LINEN AND SUPPIES TO ROOM ATTENDANTS, STOCK CAGE AREAS.

    + 15% - PARTICIPATES IN THE SCHEDULED GENERAL CLEANING OF GUEST ROOMS.

    + 5% - REPORTS MAINTENANCE REQUESTS TO ENSURE PUBLIC APREAS COMPLY WITH BRAND STANDARDS.

    OTHER DUTIES

    + DEMONSTRATE WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF THE SERVICE STANDARDS. REGULAR ATTENDANCE IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE STANDARDS, WHICH MAY BE ESTABLISHED BY HILTON FROM TIME TO TIME, IS ESSENTIAL TO THE SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE OF THIS POSITION.

    + ASSIST CO-WORKERS AS REQUESTED

    + ABILITY TO FOLLOW ALL SAFETY PROCEDURES/STANDARDS AND ABLE TO RECOGNIZE AND ACT IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS.

    + ALL TEAM MEMBERS MUST MAINTAIN A NEAT, CLEAN AND WELL-GROOMED APPEARANCE (SPECIFIC STANDARDS AVAILABLE).

    SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

    OSHA LAWS REQUIRE THE USE OF THE FOLLOWING PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHEN PERFORMING WORK DUTIES THAT HAVE THE POTENTIAL OF RISK TO YOUR HEALTH OR SAFETY:

    + LATEX AND /OR RUBBER GLOVES

    + CLOSED TOE AND HEEL SHOES WITH RUBBER SOLES.

     

    TEAM MEMBERS WILL BE TRAINED IN THE PROPER USE AND CARE OF ASSIGNED PPE. THE HOTEL PROVIDES THE REQUIRED PPE. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REPORT DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED OR LOST PPE, OR EQUIPMENT THAT DOES NOT FIT PROPERLY, TO YOUR MANAGER.

     

    Pay: $16.00/hour
