Job Description
What You’ll Do
+ You will work collaboratively while also demonstrating exceptional independence—co-leading end-to-end solution discovery, designing tailored solutions, managing RFx responses, delivering executive-ready demonstrations, and driving proof-of-concept (POC) engagements—inclusive of hands-on configuration as needed.
+ Industry-Centered Discovery and Design: Engage executive, HR, Operations, and IT stakeholders to uncover domain-specific challenges ie: crew/shift scheduling, route- and job-based time capture, complex pay rules and CBAs, tipped and seasonal workforces, safety and certification tracking, irregular operations recovery, high-volume recruiting—and architect fit-for-purpose Fusion HCM solutions. Helping to submit use cases to master demo stories and showcase solutioning Industry pain points and trends on the innovation side.
+ Pre- and Post-Sales Leadership: Own RFx strategy and responses, craft win themes, deliver compelling persona-based demos, lead POCs (including configuration of all major HCM modules), and guide post-sale solution alignment to ensure value realization and customer references.
+ AI in HCM Evangelism: Lead the adoption and demonstration of Oracle’s latest AI-driven capabilities for scheduling optimization, anomaly detection, skills inference, talent matching, learning personalization, and predictive workforce insights. Showcase quantified business impacts and continuously master and communicate quarterly enhancements.
+ Value and Business Case Development: Partner internally to build and co-present ROI models—labor cost reduction, schedule adherence, time-to-fill, compliance, crew utilization, project margin improvement aligned to executive KPIs.
+ Integration and Architecture Guidance: Partner internally to advise on best-practice integrations across HCM, ERP, SCM, Project Management, and key external systems (property management, POS, TMS, WMS, EAM, payroll, identity, analytics etc.), ensuring high performance, security, and compliance.
+ Cross-Functional Orchestration: Collaborate with Solution Engineering, Sales, Consulting, Product, and Industry Strategy teams to align go-to-market plays, feedback loops for product/industry roadmap, and scalable asset development. Partner on various project teams for process improvement across the Oracle ecosystem.
+ Thought Leadership and Enablement: Engage with prospects and customers when representing Oracle at industry events, internal events, and executive briefings; lead enablement sessions; publish and present thought leadership on various topics when asked, where appropriate.
What You’ll Bring
+ Deep and broad HCM expertise covering Time and Labor, Absence, Advanced Scheduling, Payroll, Learning, Talent, and Recruiting, with knowledge spanning work rules, compliance (CBAs, regulatory), and high-volume, multi-country environments.
+ Proven track record independently driving complex presales motions—discovery, solution design, RFx, competitive positioning, executive demos, and hands-on POCs—while partnering closely across teams.
+ Strong domain fluency in the target industries, including multi-venue operations, crew/fleet management, job-based costing, regulatory and safety requirements, and event/seasonal/service workforce models.
+ Practical experience applying AI/ML to real-world HCM use cases—scheduling, skills intelligence, talent matching, and predictive analytics—with a passion for continuous self-education and advocacy.
+ Exceptional communication and executive engagement skills, skilled at simplifying complexity and influencing decisions.
+ Builder and enabler mindset—quickly creating reusable demo assets and frameworks, iterating based on feedback, and mentoring peers in the latest product innovations and quarterly release enhancements.
+ Experience guiding customers from vision to adoption while proactively managing risk and collaborating to ensure customer success.

+ Sales Impact: Growth in new and expansion ARR across industries, competitive win rates, improved deal velocity, and shorter sales cycles.
+ Adoption and Value: Increased customer activation and usage of the full HCM suite, measurable improvements in key KPIs such as overtime, compliance, time-to-fill, and crew utilization.
+ Execution Excellence: Delivery of high-quality RFx and POC results, impactful executive demos, creation of referenceable customers and published case studies.
+ Scale and Enablement: Development of reusable assets, adoption of playbooks, and material contributions to the field and product orgs through actionable feedback and enablement.
+ Risk Mitigation: Proactive, prioritized coverage for high-impact deals, strong stakeholder management, and visible reduction of risks in pipeline and solution delivery.

Responsibilities
As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from $45.43 to $85.63 per hour; from: $94,500 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
