This role plays a key role in the design, implementation, and optimization of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role partners closely with teams across Azure Identity and Access Management, Networking, IT Operations, and Systems Engineering to ensure technology solutions align with business objectives and long-term architectural strategy.
This position provides technical leadership, drives cross-team collaboration, and helps guide the execution of critical infrastructure initiatives. The Team Lead will contribute to innovation efforts, support system reliability and performance improvements, and help advance the organization’s technology roadmap. While not a people manager, this role influences direction, promotes best practices, and serves as a trusted technical advisor across the IT organization.
Essential Job Functions:
+ Partner with the SVP, Systems Architecture to develop and execute long-term infrastructure strategies aligned with organizational goals.
+ Provide technical leadership across Systems Engineering, Azure Identity, Networking, and IT Operations by guiding best practices, mentoring team members, and supporting cross-training initiatives.
+ Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by promoting modern infrastructure patterns, automation, and operational efficiency.
+ Build strong working relationships with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical, scalable solutions.
+ Contribute to the development, documentation, and maintenance of IT architecture standards, policies, and procedures.
+ Ensure infrastructure designs and operational processes align with industry best practices, compliance requirements, and the organization’s security framework.
+ Identify opportunities to streamline operations through automation, orchestration, and improved system design.
+ Support the engineering and operational teams in executing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies, including planning, testing, and optimization.
+ Assist with evaluating and selecting infrastructure technologies, tools, and platforms that enhance performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
+ Lead or contribute to technical assessments, root cause analyses, and post-incident reviews to strengthen system resilience.
+ Provide architectural input and guidance during project planning, design reviews, and major infrastructure initiatives.
+ Serve as a point of escalation for complex technical issues, partnering with teams to drive resolution and long-term remediation.
+ Promote alignment and collaboration across teams to ensure cohesive delivery of infrastructure services and solutions.

Qualifications/ Requirements:
+ Associate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
+ Minimum of 8+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in an AVP level role or external equivalent.
+ Progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or cloud engineering roles supporting enterprise environments.
+ Extensive experience with Azure and AWS, including identity and access management, networking architecture, compute, storage, monitoring, automation, and cost optimization.
+ Proven technical leadership abilities, including mentoring team members, promoting best practices, and influencing architectural decisions without formal supervisory authority.
+ Deep understanding of core infrastructure technologies, including networking, virtualization, storage systems, server platforms, and hybrid cloud integrations.
+ Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions and contribute to long-term infrastructure strategy.
+ Strong background in automation and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Azure ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation).
+ Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layered infrastructure issues.
+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
+ Experience supporting disaster recovery, high-availability architectures, and enterprise security frameworks is strongly preferred.
+ Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect, CCNP, etc.) are a plus.
+ Flexibility to work shifts outside of normal working hours.
+ Travel may be required, no more than 25%.
+ Requires the ability to be on call and support a 24/7/365 operations

The annual full time base salary range for this role is
$150,000.00 - $170,000.00
Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
