Description

The Staffing Coordinator in collaboration with the Administrative Supervisor, Nurse Managers and Nursing Directors coordinate the 24 hour centralized staffing program in nursing services.

Coordinates patient placement, discharges, and transfers to ensure expeditious placement in diagnose appropriate areas of care in accordance of the acuity of the patients, the current unit census and within guidelines as specified in each department's policies and procedures. Utilizes the assistance of the Staffing Coordinator to ensure that placement of patients is in accordance with current staffing ratios and initiates dialogue as anticipated needs fluctuate thereby assisting the professional staff in meeting the patient care needs of the institution. Maintains and keeps current the "bed board" and accuracy of systems for evening closure.

Required Qualifications:

+ 3 years of experience in specialty or related area.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
