**Seacoast, a GCG Company** , is currently seekinga **Delivery Driver** to join our team. This role involves **delivering our military spec and commercial shipboard cable products** , representing our company with professionalism and punctuality.

**Pay Rate:** Starting at $25 per hour

**Location:** 3800 Cook Blvd Chesapeake, VA 23323

**Hours:** 7:30AM-4:30PM Mon to Fri

What you’ll do

+ Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner

+ Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and the customer is satisfied

+ Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record

+ Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.

+ Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders, to route materials

+ Deliver or route materials to departments, using hand truck,conveyor, or sorting bins

+ Perform shipping and receiving duties as needed

+ Log local deliveries into the logbook for accountability and record keeping

+ All other duties as necessary, including working in production when needed

What you’ll bring

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

+ Mechanical ability sufficient to understand the operation of equipment

+ One to three years of related experience

+ Ability to operate machinery

+ Ability to operate a forklift

+ Must have an excellent and clean driving record

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills

+ Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs

+ Time management

+ Commitment to safety

+ Experience with Oracle or a comparable ERP system is beneficial but not required
