Job Description
Safety & Security Compliance
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements related to safety and security.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in cash handling and storage processes.
• Assist in developing and enforcing security protocols to prevent theft, fraud, and operational losses.
• Monitor security systems, alarms, and surveillance footage for irregularities.
• Investigate security breaches, losses, or policy violations and provide detailed reports with recommendations.
Cash Management & Loss Prevention
• Monitor and analyze cash flow operations, identifying potential risks and discrepancies.
• Implement strategies to minimize cash shrinkage, theft, and fraud.
• Conduct audits on cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Work closely with finance, operations, and security teams to improve cash management practices.
• Investigate and report any suspected cases of cash theft, fraud, or mismanagement.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
• Stay updated on relevant laws and compliance standards related to cash handling, financial security, and workplace safety.
• Assist in training employees on cash security procedures, fraud prevention, and compliance best practices.
• Ensure documentation and reporting of security incidents comply with regulatory and internal audit requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary reports and analysis.
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Collect, analyze, and interpret security and cash management data to identify trends and potential risks.
• Develop reports on key metrics, including cash losses, theft incidents, and compliance violations.
• Provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights to improve security measures and reduce losses.
Investigations & Incident Response
• Respond promptly to incidents of theft, fraud, or security breaches.
• Conduct thorough investigations using surveillance footage, transaction records, and employee interviews.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or legal teams when necessary.
• Maintain detailed documentation of investigations and ensure follow-up actions are implemented.
Team Collaboration & Training
• Work closely with security teams, store/branch managers, and finance departments to improve security and compliance.
• Train employees on security best practices, fraud detection, and cash handling procedures.
• Support the implementation of security awareness programs to prevent internal and external threats.
Continuous Improvement & Best Practices
• Identify opportunities to enhance security protocols, cash handling procedures, and fraud prevention strategies.
• Stay informed about emerging trends in security technology, loss prevention, and regulatory changes.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen security and operational efficiency.

Skills and Requirements
• Extensive knowledge of fire prevention, safety, and security operations.
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement, Business Management, or related field required.
• At least five years of safety/security experience required.
• Advanced training or certification in safety and security preferred.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
• Ability to travel throughout facility as required to conduct safety inspections
