    Job Description

    We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to play a key role in migrating to a new subscription billing provider. In this critical position, the BSA will collaborate closely with the Project Manager, development teams, and our implementation partner to ensure all business processes and workflows are clearly documented and aligned.

     

    Responsibilities include gathering and translating requirements into detailed technical specifications—such as user stories, process flows, wireframes, and swim lanes—for delivery to development teams. The BSA will actively contribute during the design phase, monitor development progress, and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base and documentation repository throughout the project. Additionally, they will clarify business rules, accurately document all changes, and guide the team to ensure a smooth migration with minimal disruption.

     

    Please note: The design phase is scheduled to begin in early February and will run for approximately six weeks. During this phase, the BSA will work closely with the Project Manager to create process flows that clearly outline responsibilities and system integrations, ensuring the department has full visibility into the migration plan.

    Skills and Requirements

    5 + years of BA/BSA experience primarily working within application development

     

    Experience working in both waterfall and agile environment

    Expert knowledge and hands on skills with JIRA, Visio and Confluence

    Experience working with a PM tool such as MS project or Monday.com (so they can keep schedule and update that and understand if any risks are there they need to track/be aware of)

     

    Experience creating technical user stories, process flows, wire frames and swim lanes

     

    Experience working with offshore resources
