Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant with a strong background in cloud technologies, distributed systems, and advanced machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) and have a minimum of 5 years of meaningful industry experience. This role requires 3–4+ years of hands-on OpenShift experience, preferably with OpenShift for AWS (ROSA), along with expertise in building large-scale distributed systems. The candidate should be proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure and experienced with containerization technologies including Docker. A solid understanding of state-of-the-art machine learning techniques—such as deep learning, recommendation systems, and computer vision—is essential, as well as familiarity with frameworks like Scikit-learn, MLpack, TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, and Caffe. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and/or C++ are required, complemented by experience in developing microservices, RESTful APIs, and working with databases. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, technical leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)

• 3-4+ years of OpenShift experience, preferably with OpenShift for AWS (ROSA)

• Minimum 5+ years of meaningful experience in industry

• Experience in building large-scale distributed systems

• Experience with cloud technologies, Docker, Containerization

• Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure

• Understanding of state-of-the-art Machine Learning techniques, Deep Learning, Recommendations and Computer Vision

• Experience in machine learning frameworks – Scikit, MLPack, TF, SparkMLib, Caffe

• Hands-on experience with Python, Java and/or C+Experience in micro-services, REST APIs, and databases
