    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is looking for a Data engineer to help analyze, design, and optimize complex T-SQL stored procedures for maximum efficiency. This individual will help to monitor and improve the companies database performance, this includes indexing strategies and query execution plans. The position is highly collaborative and will require you to work with other engineers to ensure database design supports scalable and performant applications. This role is a 6 month contract with likely extension. This sits in Greenwood Village, CO and will require 2-3 days a week on-site. Apply today!

     

    This role can pay from $63-68/hr dependent on YOE

    Skills and Requirements

    • 3-5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later) and Postgres.

    • Proven expertise in query tuning, execution plan analysis, and index optimization.

    • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and Postgres internals, including locking, transactions, and isolation levels.

    • Experience with performance monitoring tools (e.g., SQL Profiler, Extended Events, DMVs).

     

    Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. AWS RDS experience
