    Job Description

    This enterprise level game studio is seeking a candidate with expertise in both aviation and program leadership to support the industry's most realistic flight simulator. This unique role will bring structure to a team of real-world Pilots who use their aviation subject matter expertise to test our Flight Simulator products.

     

    As a software publisher, this game studio receives in-game content through developer partners. The Lead role will be responsible for delegating QA tasks amongst the team, communicating status updates, reports, and issues to stakeholders, as well as defining process improvements.

     

    Success in this role requires excellent communication, prioritization and delegation skills. This person should be one who is either a simulation enthusiast (i.e. simmer) or rated (real-world) Pilot, in addition to having a professional background in Project/Program Management or Software QA. We are looking for a self-starter who requires little direction and can deal with ambiguity that comes up as part of the role. The ability to answer questions and guide members of the team who are not simmers or pilots is also important.

    Leadership or Program Management experience

     

    Experience using flight simulator software

     

    Professional experience in Software QA or relevant background in the Tech industry Experience in QA for Video Games
