Job Description
As a member of the Advanced Solution mechanical engineering team in Fort Washington, the team member will be responsible for the design, detailing, and documentation of a mechanical components and subsystems that are part of a high performance semiconductor assembly machine under development.
Main Responsibilities:
• Construct 3D CAD models of components and assemblies
• Create technical drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies
• Interface with mechanical and manufacturing engineers to develop designs with focus on functionality, manufacturability and cost
• Documentation of designs through design process workflows, BOMs, and ECOs
• Participate in design reviews, and ensure mechanical designs are in line with company standards and objectives.

Skills and Requirements
• Minimum of 5-8 years of machine design experience
• NX CAD and Teamcenter experience required
• Knowledge of typical manufacturing methods and mechanical engineering standards including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance).
• Design experience in precision mechanisms, component and assembly modeling, sheet metal and cable routing.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience and general proficiency with MS Office software tools
• Minimum Associates degree required • Experience with high speed/high accuracy mechanism design highly desirable.
• Any design experience in motion systems – electromechanical moving systems
