    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join an omni-channel eCommerce environment. This role is embedded in an Agile development scrum team, working side-by-side with developers to ensure quality throughout the development process—there is no separate testing phase. As a champion of quality, you will perform both manual and automated testing, focusing on frontend (UI, UX, accessibility) and backend (REST APIs, Pub/Sub) validation. You will leverage tools such as Postman for API testing and utilize automation frameworks like Selenium and Appium (C# preferred) to build and maintain test scripts. Experience with MSTest or NUnit, BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, Reqnroll), and automation reporting tools is essential. You will work in environments using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Visual Studio, and VS Code, and collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and offshore testers to deliver a seamless customer experience.

     

    The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in quality engineering, strong communication and bug advocacy skills, and a background in eCommerce. Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies is required. This position is Hybrid in either STL or Boston. This compensation is based on years of experience and ranges between $35-$40/hr.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 3 Years of experience as an Quality Engineer in an ecommerce environment

     

    - Strong experience with both Automation and Manual testing

     

    - Experience with Postman

     

    - Experience with development fundamentals but not at high level coding expertise

     

    - Experience with C# (Preference) or Java

     

    - Strong experience with selenium

     

    - Strong communication skills - Azure
