    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Data Analyst to join one of our largest tech clients in the Bay Area. The Data Analyst will provide advanced analytical, reporting, and technical documentation support

     

    across business, operational, and financial domains. This role requires a high level of proficiency in

    Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and Unidash, with a strong emphasis on cost analysis, data integrity,

    dashboard development, and professional technical writing. The analyst will translate complex datasets

     

    into clear, actionable insights for leadership and crossfunctional stakeholders.

     

    The position is expected to operate with minimal supervision, exercise sound judgment in data

     

    interpretation, and proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support strategic and

     

    operational decision making.

     

    This role can pay between $60-80/hour depending on years of experience and skillset.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -5 to 10+ years of experience as a Data Analyst

     

    - Experience using Excel workbooks using complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, macros/VBA (as applicable), and scenario modeling.

     

    -Experience with Tableau and Unidash

     

    -Cost analysis experience

     

    -Heavy use of AI in day-to-day -Automation experience using python/SQL
