    Job Description

    My client based out of Washington DC is seeking a Sr. Acquisitions Analyst to join their growing team. This team focuses on identifying land that low-income housing can be built on across the country. The correct candidate will take over expansion into new markets, starting in Dallas, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis. This role will be expected to travel ~2/month on average for 1-3 days at a time. Their day to day responsibilities will include providing financial analysis and underwriting of potential development opportunities using advanced excel, maintain ownership of the financial model throughout the deal lifecycle (including responsibilities for assumptions and calculations), perform rent studies and market tours of prospective deals, and lead overall transaction execution.

    Skills and Requirements

    -5+ years of experience in multi-family real estate development -- Low Income Housing experience HIGHLY preferred

    - advanced excel skills (ability to create a financial model, vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)

     

    -Bachelors Degree - accounting, finance, real estate, business, etc.
