Position Summary:

This position is responsible to monitor NFM Lending’s closed loan pipeline to ensure all loans are funded accurately and in a time sensitive manner through our various warehouse lenders. They are responsible to perform duties complying with NFM internal prefunding Quality Control and review policies. In addition the Mortgage Funder analyzes information in NFM Origination software for accuracy to ensure funding and warehouse lending reports are accurate. Communicates with various vendors including title companies, attorney’s, warehouse banks, as well as internal NFM departments to confirm and track wires on both funded and return wires on loans that rescind or do not sign at closing.

Essential Job Functions:

Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:

+ Manage pipeline to fund correctly and efficiently with multiple warehouse banks.

+ Perform daily tasks to include wire calculations, final verifications of employment, prefunding conditions and communicate concerns or issues that arise.

+ Generate and validate accurate information on warehouse import files to warehouse banks provided by title and within NFM’s origination system.

+ Effectively communicate, work with, and build relationships with all levels of constituents including culturally and linguistically diverse staff members and external candidates and/or vendors, while operating in a fast-paced customer service driven environment.

+ Assist with warehouse funding.

+ Request additional funds as needed.

+ Obtain pertinent documentation required by our warehouses in order to fund.

+ Stay current with the products, programs and investors that each warehouse permits.

+ Research and resolve all funding related issues.

+ Communicate with the Closing department and title companies on a regular basis.

+ Access warehouse websites to obtain FED ID’s to verify funds have been sent and posted.

+ This position may require occasional overtime and travel.

The range provided reflects the expected compensation for this role and is considered a general guideline. Actual compensation will be decided based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience assessed during the interview process, and internal pay equity. Compensation may also include incentives such as per-file bonuses and discretionary bonuses as applicable to the role.
