The Mental Health Clinic at Harborview Medical Center** has an outstanding opportunity for a **PATIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST 3.
WORK SCHEDULE
+ Full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week)

+ Opportunity to provide career growth **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** Located three blocks from the main hospital at Harborview Medical Center, Mental Health and Addictions Services (HMHAS) at Harborview provides integrated mental health and chemical dependency services in an outpatient setting. **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Function as an expert in both patient service area and registration; perform the work of registration and scheduling or unit coordination
+ Follow an effective workflow for the referral process to address both internal and external referrals, as well as communicating with referring providers• Document the steps in the process• Utilize forms and letters to document the process• Follow processes for specific subspecialty referrals with physicians• Oversee referral process and ensure compliance with process• Maintain a database for tracking referrals using EPIC• Create, maintain, and adjust provider templates per provider requests **REQUIREMENTS**
+ High school graduation or equivalent
+ Two years Patient Services Specialist 2 experience **OR**
+ An equivalent combination of education/experience
