    Purpose:

    The External Relations team at Athene, which leads all external communications and debt investor relations for the firm, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented analyst to help drive proactive media and investor engagement. The ideal candidate is thoughtful, entrepreneurial, and excels at managing multiple priorities while collaborating effectively across teams.

    Accountabilities:

    • Working with other members of Athene’s External Relations team to develop and implement strategic, proactive media and investor engagement plans and tactics to support business objectives• Following, distributing and analyzing real-time media coverage around announcements and ongoing company news; prepare weekly coverage summary• Performing a variety of research duties, including media monitoring, reporter backgrounders, conference/events vetting• Supporting investor engagement activities, including fixed income investor calls, conference attendance and roadshow logistics; updating and maintaining investor database• Drafting press releases, prep documents, talking points, social posts, PowerPoint presentations, internal and external content• Serving as point of contact for content updates and maintenance across digital channels• Managing team calendar, budget tracking and driving coordination across cross-functional teams internally• Ad hoc projects, as directed

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in external communications. Prior

     

    experience in financial services or retirement is preferred• Advanced writing, editing, proofreading and PowerPoint skills• Superior organizational and project management skills• Strong attention to detail, with demonstrated ability for accuracy and

     

    thoroughness; highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively• Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic

     

    environment with proven ability to respond quickly and efficiently under

     

    tight deadlines

     

    $99,116.80 - $148,675.20 USD Annual

     

    Annual Salary for this role is market competitive. Actual salary for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Depending on the role, a discretionary bonus plan or variable sales incentive may be included.
