    Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Benefit & Pension Eligible

     

    Working Hours Monday – Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm

     

    The Technical Clerk I is responsible for learning, applying and performing office/administrative support functions in implementing operations consistent with statutes, rules, guidelines and department operation procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to:

     

    • Responsible for processing Passport Applications; including taking Passport Photos

    • Recording and indexing documents such as deeds, mortgages, and liens

    • Processing marriage applications and recording marriage certificates

    • Managing vital records such as birth and death certificates

    • Performs general front desk and customer service work

    • Understanding legal descriptions and ability to perform public research of legal descriptions

    ### Minimum Education Required

    • High School Diploma or GED

    ### Minimum Experience Required

    • Minimum of 1-year clerical, secretarial and customer service related duties and responsibilities

    • Valid Driver’s License

    • Ability to pass a standard background check
