    We are actively hiring a Senior Level Spanish Linguist to join our team working in Reston, VA. You will be responsible for supporting a government agency and your office with translation, transcription, and/or interpretation services.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + In this role, linguists will use native or near native reading and writing skills and cultural expertise.

    + Linguists will translate and prepare reports

    + As needed, linguists may be asked to travel for short-term TDYs to domestic and foreign locations to include warzones

    REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    + TS/SCI with Polygraph

    + Bachelor’s degree desired

    + Translation into English and target language

    + Transcription into English and target language

    + Interpretation

    + Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise

    + Terminology Management

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    + Translation Related Services

    + Blogging while drawing upon linguistic/cultural expertise

    + Quality Control and Editing of language products

    + Monitoring published, online and broadcast media to identify relevant content

    + Writing Reports

    + Subject Matter Expertise in Counterterrorism, Geospatial, Military, Narcotics, Religion, Cyber and Economics areas of focus
