PDS Tech Commercial is seeking dedicated and motivated **Assemblers** for an exciting consultant opportunity with a growing aerospace manufacturing leader in **Bohemia, New York** . As an Assembler, you will play a hands-on role in producing high-quality aircraft components used in business aviation. Your skill, speed, and attention to detail will directly support production goals, ensure product reliability, and help deliver mission-critical hardware on time.

**Job Type:** Full Time; Consultant (6 Months)

**Location:** Bohemia, NY 11716

**Schedule:** Monday to Friday; First Shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

**Pay Rate:** Up to $21.75 per hour

Clear Details About Day-to-Day Responsibilities

This position offers real, practical experience in a fast-paced production department. Typical daily duties include:

+ Performing mechanical assembly of raw materials and small aerospace components.

+ Reading, interpreting, and following blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and schematics to assemble products accurately.

+ Utilizing a variety of hand tools such as torque wrenches, cutters, and measuring equipment.

+ Operating light electrical tools safely and efficiently.

+ Conducting quality-control inspections and in-process checks.

+ Maintaining organized workstations and keeping inventory arranged to support smooth workflow.

+ Identifying and documenting defects or discrepancies for corrective action.

+ Reworking or repairing assembled products when engineering changes occur.

+ Following all established safety procedures and quality standards.

+ Standing for the duration of scheduled shifts and assisting with overtime when needed.

+ Speaking and reading English fluently to follow written method sheets and work instructions.

You will be expected to work quickly while following detailed procedures to meet production “tact time” requirements.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ **1–3 years** of prior assembly experience.

+ Ability to use small hand tools, including torque wrenches.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures.

+ Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics is a plus.

+ Must be able to lift up to **30 lbs** .

+ Ability to stand for up to **8 hours** per day.

+ Willingness and ability to work overtime as required.

+ Ability to work effectively under limited supervision.

+ Must be able to communicate and read English fluently. **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

Preferred Qualifications

The following skills or experience are preferred but not required:

+ Electronics or small-parts assembly background.

+ Experience with product or mechanical component assembly.

+ Familiarity with electric power tools and measuring equipment.

+ Proven ability to work in a structured manufacturing or aerospace environment.

+ Prior quality-control inspection experience.

Dress Code and Work Environment

This is an onsite manufacturing position with the following guidelines:

+ Must wear safety glasses at all times.

+ Closed-toe shoes are required.

+ No sunglasses, hats, shorts, skirts, sagging pants, or ripped jeans.

+ Clean, professional attire suitable for a production environment.

**Pay Details:** $21.75 per hour
