    Description

    SAIC is seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) Team supporting the United States Space Force (USSF).

     

    DRRS is the Department of Defense’s Authoritative Source for Readiness. It is used as a common framework to report personnel, equipment, and mission readiness, as well as Commander’s top readiness concerns. DRRS data supports the global force management process by providing timely and actionable information to senior leaders and decision makers, allowing them to weigh options and make decisions informed by objective data in support of the National Defense Strategy.

     

    As a Full Stack Developer, supporting this team, you will work in an agile development team consisting of DevSecOps Engineers, Database Developers, Testing Engineers, Requirement Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts.

     

    **Job Responsibilities** :

    + Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of the readiness reporting system

    + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, perform root cause analysis and implement solutions

    + Optimize system performance, scalability, and responsiveness

    + Assist with generating mockups and prototypes to visualize design concepts

    + Develop software solutions that leverage automation and integrate with existing systems to enhance operational excellence

    + Participate in the creation of a containerization strategy and execute it to improve scalability and portability

    + Contribute to the creation of system documentation and update it regularly

    Qualifications

    **Required Education** :

     

    Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and zero (0) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.

     

    **Qualifications** :

    + Experience in analyzing functional requirements, systems requirements and performing systems design and development

    + Recent experience with .NET / C# to assist in maintaining existing technologies

    + Hands-on experience with React for building front-end applications\

    + Familiarity with Semantic UI or similar component-based UI frameworks

    + Demonstrated experience with complex SQL queries (MSSQL databases preferred)

    + Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern Javascript/Typescript

    + Working with application/web servers

    + Proficient with Azure DevOps/Git or other version control system (VCS)

    + Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    Clearance:

    Candidate must have an active Secret clearance

     

    Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
