Summary:
+ Position Summary: This position provides scheduling administrative support and collaboration to LG practice physicians and administrative leadership.
+ Qualified individuals must have the ability with or without reasonable accommodation to perform the following duties:
+ Coordinates monthly schedules for physicians including daily assignments, evening, weekend, holiday, on-call, and rounding coverage to ensure appropriate daily coverage for all patient locations
+ Collaborates with department leadership in establishing and maintaining scheduling guidelines
+ Responsible for the creation and maintenance of applicable clinical schedules in collaboration with and under the direction of leadership
+ Collaborates with the department physician and administrative leadership to review all physician IP and OP assignments
+ Tracks and coordinates physician PTB, corporate, and CME time requests
+ Accurately prepares time and attendance information and submit in a timely manner. Opens and blocks physician office schedules for scheduling staff.
+ Regularly updates appropriate website with current monthly, vacation, and weekend call schedules Qgenda, etc
+ Schedules physician and administrative meetings as requested
+ Maintains and updates each physician’s Outlook calendar
+ Notifies appropriate departments each week of physician unavailability
+ Coordinates residents and medical student schedules, if applicable
+ Collaborates with LG Practice Manager and Customer Service Supervisor to coordinate physician and patient schedules in Epic
+ Assists Practice Manager with patient scheduling tasks as requested.
+ Provides monthly physician time reports
+ The following duties are considered secondary to the primary duties listed above:
+ Assists other managers with schedules as requested.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Minimum Required Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Excellent computer skills
+ Experience with MS Office products - Outlook, Word. PowerPoint, and Excel software
+ Associates Degree
+ Previous physician scheduling experience
