    Data Reliability Specialist

     

    The Data Intelligence team is dedicated to delivering trusted data and innovative analytics solutions that empower teams to make faster, better decisions, shaping future success. We equip process teams with master data capabilities, transforming the organization into an analytics and data-driven culture. Our services include consultancy in analytics, tool and reporting standardization, process innovation, and data resiliency through cleansing, maintenance upskilling, process design, consultancy, operational governance, and global process leadership.

     

    As an Associate Data Reliability Expert, you will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the organization’s master data, including critical data assets such as product, planning, and customer information. You will optimize the organization’s data assets, enhance decision-making capabilities, and improve operational efficiency by collaborating with stakeholders across processes.

    YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Ensure material/planning master data integrity and GxP compliance across systems (OMP, ERP, APO);

    + Maintain master data and rules and governance measures for aggregated master data maintenance with global configuration characteristics;

    + Execute components of PH Master Data strategy as directed to drive data, process, and system harmonization;

    + Create and maintain data quality rules, measures, and KPIs based on business requirements;

    + Proactively monitor data quality, support routine data audits, and resolve data issues to ensure data correctness and accuracy;

    + Support the design of data assets and drive the maintenance, automation, standardization, and centralization of master data;

    + Provide training and documentation to operational teams for effective data management;

    + Potential work roles include MD Steward Material, MD Steward Distribution Planning, or MD Steward PPDS + Material Planning.

    + The primary location for this role is Pittsburgh, PA.

    WHO YOU ARE:

    Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

    Required Qualifications:

    + University degree in a scientific field (supply chain, computer systems, engineering, science preferred), or equivalent combination of education and experience;

    + Strong knowledge and experience with supply chain processes;

    + Advanced knowledge of ERP System (SAP) and supply chain tools;

    + Forward-thinking data analytics and visualization skills;

    + Strong knowledge of master data management (MDM) principles, practices, and frameworks, including data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management;

    + Strong knowledge of relevant planning processes and related master data across all involved systems;

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams;

    + Advanced English skills, both spoken and written.

     

    This posting will be available for application until at least 1/16/2026.

     

    Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $93,840 - $140,760. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
