The Senior Manager, Software Engineering, leads platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and roadmap milestones. About the team:
The team leads cloud engineering initiatives for Vizio Services, focusing on scalable, secure, and high-performance platform solutions. It drives the full software development lifecycle, emphasizing technical leadership, solution design, and project management. Members collaborate across functions to deliver robust AI/ML-integrated systems, ensuring architectural alignment and operational excellence. The team fosters continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and adherence to best practices in software architecture. It supports professional growth by mentoring engineers and promoting a culture of technical excellence, reliability, and strategic execution aligned with business goals.
What you'll do:
+ Lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with domain priorities and roadmap milestones.
+ Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks to support scalable, secure development.
+ Guide architectural reviews and system design decisions for maintainability and performance.
+ Drive full software development lifecycle across multiple teams, promoting DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML features and intelligent automation.
+ Mentor engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
+ Manage stakeholder relationships to align priorities and ensure timely delivery of complex initiatives.
What you'll bring:
+ Extensive experience leading platform-level software engineering initiatives, including AI/ML system integration and scalable infrastructure development.
+ Proven expertise in software architecture, solution design, and full software development lifecycle management across multiple teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $121,000.00 - $242,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
