    **Trane** is hiring a **Technical Team Lead** to join our organization in **Charlotte, NC** . As a Technical Team Lead your primary responsibility is technician development and safety. The Team Lead role is a vital part of the service leadership team and will work closely with the management to achieve the MBO’s.

    Where is the work:

    + **This role will work onsite at our regional office located in the Charlotte, NC area.**

    What you will do:

    + Technical Expert

    + Leader/Mentor

    + Responsible for training and developing technicians on Trane Equipment/Products and service tools/applications (ex: Click, Augury, XOI, Trane 360, Gensuite, etc.)

    + Supports process compliance by managing the day-to-day tasks of their team of technicians: Perform Safety Audits, OCR Action Items, Tools/Equipment

    + Supervise crane lifts to ensure safe practices are taking place.

    + Reviews and evaluates Augury & ChemLab reports to make suggestions for further actions needed.

    + Assists in interview processes, onboarding and training of new associates, and providing continuous feedback to ASM on the development of technicians.

    + Makes recommendations for hiring/terminating staff to the ASM.

    + Makes recommendations for Skills Base evaluations on administrative skills.

    + Assist ASM’s with setting and managing technician’s MBO’s.

    + Assists with customer satisfaction issues by working directly with internal and external customers to find resolutions.

    + Works with Account Managers & Estimators to provide input on quoted estimates for renewals to ensure that all aspects of the job scope are being taken into consideration.

    + As necessary, works with Project Manager to prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work.

    + Assist in reviewing Quoted Profitability with ASM and Project Manager on a monthly basis.

    + As necessary, complete service work (quoted, T&M, claims, PM's) or delegate to others to ensure timely completion

    + Always maintains applied labor percentage.

    + MBO’s

    + Safety (TRIR=0/100% Completion Audits), Skillsbase Growth (Skill Level)

    What you will bring:

    + Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

    Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure:

    + Must be able to safely and legally operate a vehicle using a seat belt

    + Must be able to wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness and safety boots to safely perform job duties

    + Must be able to twist the trunk of your body 90 degrees in each direction

    + Must be able to squat and touch the floor with both hands

    + Must be able to reach your hands over your head

    + Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods, routinely up to 4 hours

    + This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling and climbing ladders. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move more than 40 lbs.

    + Must be able to safely use a ladder with a 375 lb. total weight limit, while carrying equipment of 50 lbs. or less

    + Must be able to maneuver confined access areas, as small as 30” vertical x 45” horizontal

    + Must be able to comfortably and routinely access rooftops with extension and/or fixed ladders at heights of 15’ to 20’, and occasionally, up to 50 feet + This role may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, risk of electrical shock, noisy operating equipment and other variable environmental conditions based on location
