STATUS: Full-time (37.5 hour a week)
HOURLY RATE: up to $22.00

The primary responsibility of the Engagement Coordinator is client and volunteer recruitment for the Financial Services programs and Future Care Planning and Trust Services. The Engagement Coordinator is charged with cultivating meaningful relationships and building a professional network of allied professionals and potential referral sources. Promote awareness and deliver education to professionals and the public regarding Financial Management, Financial Care Management, and Future Care Planning and Trust Services. Foster engagement among community members and volunteers to support diverse agency initiatives. The position requires the talent of a person who is comfortable and willing to travel within Monroe County and the greater Finger Lakes region. This position is suited best for someone who enjoys working on a team and who also thrives working independently.
1. Engagement & Outreach
+ Develop and implement a recruitment strategy for Financial Services and Future Care Trust client recruitment activities.
+ Develop and implement a recruitment strategy for Financial Services volunteer recruitment activities.
+ Field calls from prospective clients and referral sources.
+ Conduct community presentations.
+ Attend volunteer recruitment events.
+ Provide education and outreach on financial topics and programs targeting both urban and rural senior centers, community and faith-based organizations, health fairs, volunteer organizations, and other opportunities.
+ Identify engagement opportunities, steward relationships for client & volunteer acquisition.
2. General Administration
+ Provides on-going updates and monthly reports to FCM, FVM Program Directors and Division Leader.
+ Maintain referral log and new client enrollment tracking mechanism.
+ Educate client prospects on Lifespan POA and service agreements.
+ Facilitate client enrollment/ sign on to services.
+ Maintain POA client standby files and conduct annual follow-up.
3. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience:Three years of experience in financial services industry. Working knowledge of community resources and experience with NYS Power of Attorney preferred. Notary Public preferred.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
+ 85% of work is done in the community. 15% of work is performed in an office setting at a workstation.
+ Interaction with financial professionals, healthcare administrators and Elder Law Attorneys.
+ Notary Public
+ Interpersonal, analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
+ Comfort with telephone usage and conversations. Comfort managing incoming and outgoing calls.
+ Ability to travel by car. Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
+ Interface with all levels of personnel and with staff from other organizations.
+ Ability to maintain composure under strict deadlines and difficult situations.
+ Strong verbal, written and telephone communication skills are required.
+ Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Office 365, web research, PowerPoint design, EMS.
+ Ability to perform work at a desk or at a personal computer station.
+ Standing is sometimes involved during group facilitation and professional training sessions.
+ Ability to work in multi-cultural environments.
+ Handling tasks such as lifting files and related materials. <25 lbs.
+ Normal daily walking and sitting.
