Lead the Global Agency Management team in the management of Ford's marketing communications agency network. Identify opportunities to maintain our agency management team as a cutting-edge center of excellence. Foster adaptability and innovation, ensuring Ford's industry leadership by continuously reimagining the agency model, optimizing marketing investments with advanced practices, and building agency relationships designed to create groundbreaking creativity on behalf of the marketing team.
Lead the Global Agency Management team in the transformative evolution of our marketing communications agency ecosystem, building a future-forward center of excellence. This pivotal role will find ways to continuously reimagine our agency model, fostering agility and innovation to ensure Ford stays ahead of the industry. Identify opportunities to strategically evolve our existing partnerships, cultivating relationships that unlock new capabilities. Identify and implement innovative Agency Management processes, tools, and best practices to optimize our advertising/marketing investment, ensuring maximum impact and efficiency. Lead the team responsible for oversight and continuous improvement in our agency management requirements. Responsible for incubating disruptive ideas and scaling them across the network to drive business objectives.
+ Architect and continuously evolve a future-forward, best-in-class agency ecosystem that is built to deliver strategic impact, business objectives, effectiveness and efficiency.
+ Lead day-to-day Global Agency Management operations across all business units and functional areas requiring agency of record support, including conflict resolution, alignment with corporate policy and oversight of corrective actions when necessary.
+ Orchestrate foundational business relationships with our agency partners in all global regions/markets, unlocking business value and driving consistent excellence in performance.
+ Champion the adoption and integration of cutting edge technology, including AI and automation, to increase the output and drive efficiency within our agency partners.
+ Oversee the standards, guidelines and application of the Agency Services Agreement (ASA).
+ Consult with IT and Legal on all digital advertising related data Privacy and Security and controls issues.
+ Strategically steward and optimize over $2 billion in annual agency investment (Media, Production, Fee, OOP), maximizing financial impact and driving transformative business outcomes.
+ Lead annual Global contract and commercial terms negotiations.
+ Manage the Agency Global Scope of Work process annually across all global business units.
+ Leverage GAMT tools and technology to revolutionize agency governance, empower data-driven performance insights, and ensure absolute operational excellence.
+ Manage Global Media Rebate program including all governance and application of rules within our agency contracts.
+ Manage agency financials database (agency profit and loss statements from every region, every country globally) to conduct internal benchmarking and scenario planning for negotiations.
+ Participate in industry conferences, networking and associations to ensure continuous benchmarking of best practices.
You'll have...
+ **Bachelors degree in relevant field** or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
+ A minimum of 12 years of professional experience in a similar or related role.
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher with experience in a relevant field.
+ Experience leading teams, managing agency relationships and working with teams across multiple regions.
+ Experience in working with marketing communications agencies, with knowledge of best practices, innovation and optimization.
+ Ability to drive transformational change and use creativity to solve challenges.
+ Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels across various regional cultures.
+ Must be able to manage competing high priority and high visibility projects simultaneously.
+ Comfortable with ambiguity, complexity and creative problem solving.
+ Cross functional team player with experience working across multiple business units to collaborate with, influence and align stakeholders.
+ Excellent written and oral communications, organizational and interpersonal skills.
