What You'll Do
As a Strategic Client Group Analyst, you will support the strategic client group and sales teams in their engagement with institutional plan sponsors and consultants. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in asset management distribution if you are interested in financial markets, investment capabilities and engaging with others in a collaborative environment. The role is critical to the team’s strategic effort to retain clients and grow assets under management across investment capabilities, from equity to fixed income to private markets. Responsibilities include acting as the team’s liaison with our external constituents and internal partners – providing follow up materials, preparing briefing documents and collaborating on pipeline opportunities.

This is your chance to work collaboratively across with institutional sales, relationship management and investment professionals in support of the clients we serve in our largest strategic relationships in asset management.
Key responsibilities
+ Support relationship managers and/or institutional sales team members with day-to-day activities.
+ Act as a team representative and critical liaison with external and internal constituents -providing timely and professional responses related to capability/firm inquiries, information requests and strategy updates.
+ Conduct competitive analysis and market research to provide insights related to industry trends and peer positioning.
+ Prepare briefing materials for upcoming meetings, conferences and industry events; manage the requests and delivery of presentations and pitch materials.
+ Maintain Sales Force CRM: data entry, clean-up, validation and proactive reporting and engagement tracking for effective team outreach.
+ Create and update internal Power Point presentations, take meeting notes, track action items and follow up.
+ Manage contact lists and oversee the team’s coordinated outreach related to specific offerings and firm announcements
+ Assist with project work: pipeline tracking and strategic initiatives.
+ Regularly review consultant websites for current search activity and update business profiles based on client and consultant exposures, preferences, historical investment interestsand decision-making processes.

Who You Are
+ Bachelor's degree or eight years of equivalent experience
+ FINRA licensing required within 90 days of employment including SIE, Series 7, Series 63 licenses
+ Must have basic PC skills, database experience and spreadsheet skill
+ Ability to learn systems and applications/databases, including Salesforce
+ Investment product and capital markets knowledge preferred
+ Must be able to attend to the day to day details while maintaining a strategic focus
+ High energy, relentless passion to succeed and willingness to give back to team and community
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Creative and persuasive marketer with ability to leverage technology and data analytics
+ Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
+ High level of accountability and maintains professional and ethical standards
+ Analytical / Reasoning skills
+ Willingness to become proficient utilizing technology including salesforce and other client marketing tools
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$48450 - $95950 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

This role is located in Des Moines, IA or Charlotte, NC. It is an office hybrid role that has three designated days in the office and two remote days weekly.
