+ **Department:** Neuro Admin
+ **Schedule:** Monday - Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with occasional off hours as needed
+ **Hospitals:** Oversight across 11 adult hospitals, including Dell Seton Medical Center, Seton Williamson, Seton Medical Center Austin, Seton Hays, and Providence **Location:** Austin, TX with regular travel required between Central Texas campuses
+ Eligible for an annual bonus incentive
The Director of Neuroscience and Spine Quality leads quality, patient safety, and performance improvement across neuroscience and spine programs within the Texas Network, partnering with physicians and clinical leaders to advance outcomes, ensure regulatory readiness, and drive continuous improvement across stroke, spine, trauma, and critical care services.

Responsibilities
Direct quality management activities and resources.
+ Oversee progress of departmental and hospital-wide quality improvement projects. Report any difficulties with progress to respective managers.
+ Analyze patient care information from data sources. identifies real or potential concerns and oversee development of recommendations to correct or prevent concerns.
+ Develop succinct and comprehensive reports detailing quality improvement activities, including periodic reporting of organizational performance data.
+ Oversee adherence to regulatory standards for quality improvement. Act as a resource for quality improvement information.
Requirements
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experiencerequired, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor'sdegree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those yearsbeing in leadership/management.
Additional Preferences
Strongly Preferred:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Public Health, or a related clinical field
+ 5+ years of progressive experience in quality, patient safety, or clinical performance improvement
+ Experience supporting neuroscience, stroke, spine, trauma, or critical care programs
+ Direct involvement with certification and regulatory readiness efforts (e.g., CSC, PSC, TJC, spine certification, or equivalent)
Preferred:
+ Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
+ Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, MPH, MBA, or related field)
+ Professional certification such as FACHE, Lean/Six Sigma, or equivalent
