Position Summary:
The primary role of the Financial Control Analyst is to maintain databases that account for futures commissions and exchange fees for our leading futures brokerage business. Areas of responsibility includes broker commission payouts, and other variable and fixed direct trading costs. This role supports profitability analysis and reporting including return on capital metrics. The Financial Control Analyst will report directly to the Sr Accounting Manager to maximize development, learning and departmental efficiency.
Job** **Responsibilities:
+ Maintain database of commission deals, and exchange, clearing fee rates under the direction of the Sr. Accounting Manager covering $350,000,000 in annual direct expenses.
+ Calculate monthly broker commission payouts using new SQL commission payout system
+ Support development of new commission payout processing system
+ Prepare monthly accounting entries and related balance sheet reconciliations
+ Other general projects, analysis, and accounting tasks
Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
+ Strong analytical abilities, initiative and problem solving skills
+ High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
+ Experience with Power BI or SQL a plus
+ 2-4 years experience in Finance Services as an accountant or analyst a plus
+ Experience in the futures industry a plus
+ Ability to meet deadlines

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
