    Overview

     

    PLEASE NOTE: This is a remote position. In accordance with CHLA policy, candidates must establish primary residency in California prior to their start date.

     

    **Purpose Statement/Position Summary:** The Project Manager manages implementation of projects and project tasks to achieve successful and satisfactory project deliverables and objectives, including high quality, timely and cost-effective execution. Develops and maintains project schedules and work plans; collaborates with and coordinates internal and external resources and stakeholders; conducts research and analyses; and monitors and documents project progress. Assists with HR initiatives and programs in a confidential capacity to formulate, determine and effectuate management policies.

     

    Provide project management for a broad range of critical strategic business initiatives within the scope of primary care network development and management, and quality and patient safety. Responsible for managing primary care provider relationships, issues resolution, education/orientation, clinical integration, evaluation of network adequacy, quality, and performance metrics. Collaborates with provider relations team and clinical leaders to identify activities focused on servicing primary care preferred providers.

     

    + Manages relationships with CHLA Care Network Members by fostering strong relationships with providers, resolving patient issues, evaluating network adequacy, and maintaining referral, quality, and performance metrics. Collaborates with internal key stakeholders, including clinic leaders, to identify access barriers to CHLA and to identify solutions.

    + The Project Manager leads Care Network marketing efforts, including annual marketing plan in partnership with the Marketing team to ensure identified tactics are implemented within budget. Trains and collaborates with team members, conducts project plans and assessments, and provides feedback.

    + Leads development of the Care Network strategic plan every 2–3 years in partnership with Strategy, Care Network leaders, and key stakeholders.

    + Provides support to Care Network leadership on external partnership initiatives and internal enterprise strategic projects. Oversees the expansion of Care Network memberships (Hospital, Specialty, Affiliation) and manages the Care Network service portfolio in collaboration with key stakeholders, including CHLAMG and CHLA leadership.

    + Provides support for quality and patient safety projects as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

    Required:

    + 5+ years of progressive experience

    + Demonstrated ability to determine key business issues and develop appropriate action plans from multi disciplinary perspectives.

    + Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses.

    _Preferred:_

    + Project management experience in health care.

    + Familiarity/Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    + Technical and project management skills: Experience coordinating multiple projects at the same time; strong planning organizational skills; the ability to organize complex information into cohesive communications.

    + Strong communication skills: Expresses oneself clearly and effectively when speaking and/or writing to individuals or group.

    **Education/Licensure/Certification:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or other related field required. Master’s degree in health care, business or related field preferred. Lean Six Sigma background or certification (Yellow/Green Belt) preferred.

     

    Pay Scale Information

     

    $84,302.00-$144,518.00

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
