Job Description

As an environmental **Field Technician** , you will play a vital role in safeguarding our environment by collecting samples and monitoring potential pollution sources. Your work will contribute to ensuring public health and ecosystem well-being, making a real difference in the world. As a **Field Technician** , you will have a weekly routine driving route 2-4 days a week where you will collect and analyze field samples.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Safely and efficiently drive assigned routes, arriving at designated locations for customers on time.

+ Collect samples of water and soil for laboratory analysis.

+ Perform on-site testing and analysis of samples in a field setting.

+ Load and unload laboratory samples and field equipment

+ Follow all traffic laws and company policies while operating a company vehicle.

+ Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Laboratory work: Assist senior technicians and scientists with more complex laboratory procedures.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Job Qualifications:

+ Associate's degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, or a related field preferred.

+ HS Diploma Required

+ Authorization to work in US indefinitely without sponsorship

+ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

+ Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

Additional Preferences:

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

+ Communication skills to interact with customers and team members

+ Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

Additional Information

+ **Position is full-time, Regular Business hours of operation are 7:30 AM- 4:30 PM however Field Technician positions allow for flexible scheduling.**

+ **Position is located at our Huntsville, TX site.**

+ **Position Pay Range is $15-20/hr but will be reviewed based on experience.**
